In response to recent hostilities in Aleppo, medical officials have overseen the urgent relocation of patients from a key healthcare facility. Following shelling by the SDF organization that struck the Internal Medicine Hospital on Jan. 6, all individuals receiving treatment, including the wounded, were moved to ensure their protection.
Relocation to al-Razi Hospital
According to reports from SANA and local authorities, those being treated at the Internal Medicine Hospital were successfully transferred to al-Razi Hospital. This decision was made by officials to safeguard the lives of the patients and the injured in the wake of the attack.
Maintaining Emergency Medical Services
The primary objective of the transfer was to maintain the safety of the patients while ensuring that emergency medical care remains operational. Local authorities emphasized that moving the patients was a necessary step to keep critical healthcare services running without interruption despite the SDF strike.
