During a meeting held on Tuesday, January 6, Health Minister Musab al-Ali and Sultan al-Morshed, the CEO of the Saudi Development Fund, explored opportunities for funding and supporting essential healthcare initiatives. These projects are designated as part of Syria’s strategic health roadmap for 2026–2028.

Strengthening Medical Infrastructure

The discussions between the Minister and the visiting delegation primarily focused on enhancing the capacity of medical operations and modernizing health facilities. Furthermore, both parties addressed methods to overcome existing obstacles in the delivery of medical services.

The Role of the Saudi Development Fund

As a government organization, the Saudi Development Fund provides low-interest concessional loans intended to finance development endeavors in various developing nations. Its primary objectives include the promotion of economic expansion and the enhancement of quality of life for citizens.
