Beijing, Jan. 11 (SANA) In 2025, Chinese manufacturers secured the top positions in the international humanoid robot sector, leading in both volume of shipments and market percentage. This data comes from a recent study published by Omdia, titled “Radar of the Embodied Robotics Market for General Purposes.”
Rapid Market Expansion and Key Players
According to the Omdia report, as referenced by Xinhua, the humanoid robotics sector entered an era of accelerated expansion last year. Experts estimate that total yearly shipments across the industry will arrive at approximately 13,000 units.
Agibot, a tech innovator from China, emerged as the frontrunner by delivering 5,168 units in 2025, capturing a 39% share of the worldwide market. Following closely behind was Unitary Technology.
AI Integration and Future Projections
The research emphasizes the increasing synergy between generative artificial intelligence and robotic systems. This advancement is facilitating the rise of “general embodied intelligence,” which refers to robots capable of learning and adjusting to diverse settings autonomously.
Looking at long-term trends, the industry’s trajectory suggests massive growth over the coming ten years. Projections indicate that global shipments of human-like robots will soar to nearly 2.6 million units by 2035.
Furthermore, China introduced the first-ever global app store specifically for humanoid robots last month, underscoring its commitment to sector-wide innovation and continued development.
