📰 Israeli patrol arrests young man during incursion into Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – An Israeli armed forces patrol arrested on Wednesday a young man after advancing into the western countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, where it carried out searches of multiple homes. A local source informed North Press that an Israeli force, consisting of six armed forces vehicles, entered the town of Jumla in western Daraa during the early morning hours. The force raided the home of Muhammad al-Muhammad and searched three houses inside the town before detaining him and taking him to an unknown location.

The source added that the incursion took place without any clashes or resistance from residents and coincided with the presence of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area. He noted that arrest operations targeting young men in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra have persisted since the fall of the al-Assad regime. While some detainees are released after multiple days, numerous remain in custody, with no official clarification from Israeli authorities regarding the reasons for their arrest.
