Damascus, Dec. 16 (SANA) Saudi companies have highlighted their backing for Syria’s reconstruction efforts at the 23rd BUILDEX exhibition in Damascus, emphasizing investment opportunities and technical expertise. The exhibition underscored Saudi Arabia’s key role in Syria’s rebuilding process, especially in construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, and safety systems.
Moreover, multiple prominent Saudi firms, including Al Dar International Engineering Consultancy, Al Ojaimi Industrial Group, and Riyadh Cables Group, used the event to forge partnerships and enhance their involvement in Syria’s recovery. Ziad Abdul Rahim Qannas, CEO of Al Dar International Engineering Consultancy, expressed the firm’s intention to expand its operations in Syria. “We are preparing proposals for service projects in Syria to backing the country’s reconstruction,” Qannas stated. Haytham Abdulhalim, Sales Manager at Al Ojaimi Industrial Group, highlighted the group’s second participation at BUILDEX.
