📰 Israeli forces advance in Quneitra, violating 1974 disengagement agreement

Quneitra, Dec. 12 (SANA) On Friday, Israeli troops carried out an incursion into multiple villages in the Quneitra countryside, SANA reporter stated. “An Israeli force of eight vehicles advanced from the al-Adnaniyah checkpoint toward the villages of Umm al-E’zam and Ruwaihiniyah, passing through the villages of Rasm al-Halabi, al-Mushayrifa, and Umm Batnah,” the reporter added.

Syria continues to condemn Israel’s ongoing violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which include incursions into southern Syria, arbitrary detentions, forced displacement, property destruction, and the plowing of agricultural lands. The Syrian administration also continues to call for the full withdrawal of Israeli occupation troops from Syrian territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria remain invalid under international law.
