In its post, Lekhwiya (Qatar Internal security Force) stated it received the syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian participants as they launched an intensive program supervised by instructors from the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group, noting that the sessions are designed to bolster the Syrian emergency team’s preparedness for disasters and relief crises.
Lekhwiya stated that the training aims to “enhance the readiness of the Syrian team to handle disasters and relief emergencies efficiently, and strengthen its capacity for effective emergency response. ” The program builds on cooperation developed earlier this year, when the Syrian Civil Defense Organization (White Helmets) signed a partnership and training agreement with Lekhwiya on January 20. The earlier agreement covers specialized instruction in disaster management and provides backing equipment for search-and-rescue operations.
