QAMISHLI, syria (North Press) – The U. S. Committee for relocated persons and Immigrants (USCRI) voiced on Friday deep concern over the Trump administration’s decision to terminate the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for syrians, calling on the administration to reverse the move.   In a statement, the committee stated it was “deeply concerned by the Administration’s decision to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syria, effective November 21, 2025. ”  USCRI urged the administration to reconsider and issue an 18-month extension and redesignation of TPS for Syria, stressing its persisted commitment to defending the rights, safety, and dignity of relocated people.   On Sep.
