QAMISHLI, energy-cooperation-with-switzerland-and-jordan/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Syria explores energy cooperation with Switzerland and Jordan">syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (north Press) – Two men were killed on Thursday after being targeted by unidentified gunmen on the road between the town of Ma’arzaf and the village of Kadoura in Idlib countryside, northwest Syria, a local source informed North Press. as per the source, the victims were identified as Ahmad Rashid Qadhanoun and Murhaf Mustafa al-‘Aram, both from the city of Ariha, south of Idlib. The two men were reportedly affiliated with the 25th Division, also known as the “Tiger troops,” led by Brigadier General Suhail al-Hassan.
The source added that the gunmen opened direct fire on the vehicle carrying the two men, killing them instantly, before fleeing toward nearby agricultural lands. In a separate incident, one person was killed and three others were injured when a landmine exploded in the city of Ma’arrat al-Numan, southern Idlib.
