Aseer Madaien, Deputy Head of the UNHCR Mission in syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria, affirmed that the UN refugee agency is working to overcome significant logistical and field challenges hindering the launch of any program aimed at encouraging the return of syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian relocated persons. Indeed, speaking on Al Jazeera, Madaien pointed out that while Syria receives considerable international and regional backing, it remains insufficient to meet the vast needs of the local population due to the scale of infrastructure destruction.
She called for rose international aid to facilitate the return of Syrian relocated persons. The UN official explained that the agency is implementing backing programs in Jordan, Lebanon, and turkey to ease voluntary return, including transportation and financial grants for returnees.
