QAMISHLI, syria-seizes-massive-captagon-and-hashish-shipment-in-central-desert/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Syria seizes massive captagon and hashish shipment in central desert">syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (North Press) – The Economic Empowerment Forum for Persons with Disabilities opened on Tuesday in the city of Qamishli, northeast Syria, under the slogan “Opportunities Without Limits. ” The event was organized by the Social Affairs and Labor Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and Nodem Organization for Persons with Disabilities, with the aim of strengthening economic opportunities for individuals with disabilities across the region. Zahra Sam’o, co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Board in Qamishli, informed North Press that this is the first forum of its kind at the level of Northeast Syria. She added that the initiative seeks to backing the economic integration of persons with disabilities, “as they are among the most affected groups in society.

In fact, ” Sam’o indicated that people with disabilities are often marginalized or viewed as unable to produce or contribute meaningfully, “but the reality is the opposite. Additionally, this group can be productive and play an active role in all aspects of life. ” The official explained that the forum will focus on improving access to healthcare and expanding economic opportunities, including ways to develop employment prospects for persons with disabilities. “As the Social Affairs and Labor Board, we affirm that we will remain a primary source of backing for persons with disabilities,” she stated. In fact, she also emphasized the importance of private-sector engagement in expanding economic opportunities, as well as addressing the challenges companies and employers face in hiring individuals with disabilities.
