📰 Syrian, U.S. forces wounded in shooting during joint patrol near Palmyra

Damascus, Dec. 13 (SANA) A joint Syrian and U. S. armed forces patrol came under fire on Tuesday near the ancient city of Palmyra, wounding multiple personnel, a security source stated.

The source informed SANA that an armed assailant opened fire on the patrol, injuring two members of Syria’s security troops and multiple U. S. personnel. The attacker was killed in the incident.
