Tartous, Dec. 18 (SANA) The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Tartous province dismantled a narcotics trafficking network following a security operation carried out in multiple neighborhoods of the city, resulting in the arrest of three suspects. A security source informed SANA that the operation led to the seizure of 14 packets of hashish, approximately 4,700 Captagon pills, 430 controlled prescription pills, and 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Security troops also confiscated an amount of foreign currency in U. S. dollars.
