📰 Syrian security forces arrest 3 former regime members in Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, internal-security-forces-reinforce-aleppo-neighborhoods-following-civilian-casualties/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Internal Security Forces reinforce Aleppo neighborhoods following civilian casualties">internal-link">syria (North Press) – Three former members of the al-Assad regime were arrested in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria, a security source stated on Saturday. The source, from the security troops of the syrian transitional administration, informed North Press that security troops raided the home of Hatem al-Murhesh, a former regime member, in the village of al-Kishmah, southeast Deir ez-Zor, on Friday night.    He was arrested along with another wanted individual from the same town who had been in hiding. The patrol also confiscated personal weapons and ammunition found in their possession, he added.

In a separate operation, another patrol arrested Zein al-Yousef after raiding his home on the outskirts of the town of al-Mayadin, southeast of Deir ez-Zor. Moreover, al-Yousef previously served in the Fourth Armored Division, affiliated with Maher al-Assad. The source noted that all three detainees had not undergone the settlement process and had remained in hiding since the fall of the al-Assad regime.
