QAMISHLO, syria (North Press) โ€“ Syriaโ€™s Ministry of Interior declared on Thursday that its Anti-Narcotics Department in Rural damascus seized 165,000 Captagon pills and arrested two individuals linked to a drug-trafficking network after carrying out a coordinated security/" class="auto-internal-link">security operation. In a statement published on its official platforms, the ministry stated the Anti-Narcotics Department โ€œcarried out a precise and well-planned security operation, resulting in the dismantling of a network specialized in promoting and smuggling narcotics. โ€ The statement added that the operation targeted individuals who had been under continuous surveillance based on verified field information. as per the Interior Ministry, the two detainees, identified by their initials as โ€œM. M. โ€ and โ€œA.

A. ,โ€ were apprehended following what it described as โ€œclose monitoring and sustained tracking of their movements. In fact, โ€ Both suspects are accused of participating in the distribution and attempted smuggling of narcotic substances to destinations outside Syria.
