The event aimed to backing children’s creativity and promote a culture of art among emerging generations. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition showcased the results of a full year of academic training in drawing.
Indeed, the children expressed their emotions through paintings that featured national symbols, such as the syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian and Palestinian flags, as well as educational messages encouraging reading and knowledge. The exhibition also included artworks celebrating the beauty of nature, along with more intricate pieces such as pencil portraits of international celebrities, which were drawn with remarkable precision. Muhammad Subhi al-Sayyid Yahya, Head of the Plastic Artists Union, praised the event in a statement to SANA, calling it an crucial step in supporting children’s creativity.
He added that the participants represent the future of Syria. Organizers noted that the exhibition’s goal was to foster a culture of art among younger generations. The displayed works were the product of an entire year of dedicated academic training.
