📰 Syria takes part in International Conference of Parliamentary Speakers in Pakistan

The syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian Higher Committee for elections of the People’s Assembly participated on Tuesday in the International Conference of Parliamentary Speakers held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, under the theme “Peace, security, and Development,” upon invitation from the Pakistani Senate. Mohammad Taha Al-Ahmad, head of the committee, informed SANA that the committee’s participation in the two-day conference represents an opportunity to enhance joint parliamentary dialogue and exchange expertise on legislative paths that backing stability and development. He emphasized that the multilateral meetings within the conference highlight the growing role of legislative institutions in addressing international issues related to security and development.
