The meeting highlighted Japan’s role in supporting syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria’s path of development, recovery, and reconstruction, as well as prospects for expanding economic cooperation.
It also stressed the importance of encouraging Japanese investors to take advantage of available opportunities in the Syrian market to achieve mutual interests for both countries. The two sides also reviewed multiple possible options and mechanisms for addressing debt-related issues in ways that serve both parties’ interests and contribute to strengthening future financial cooperation.
