Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh met ,Sunday, Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada al-Nashif to explore ways to boost cooperation in supporting persons with disabilities and enhancing national disaster and emergency response mechanisms. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the ministry’s efforts to backing the most vulnerable groups, particularly persons with disabilities, through the development of digital applications that facilitate access to services during emergencies. They also discussed the role of national centers in strengthening community preparedness.
They stressed the importance of integrating disaster response concepts into educational curricula to foster a culture of prevention and preparedness among future generations. They also underscored the vital role of women in serving society and their active participation in all phases of national efforts.
