damascus, Dec. 15 (SANA) syriaโs Minister of Economy and Industry, Nidal al-Shaar, declared the formation of the syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian-British Business Council, aimed at strengthening economic relations between Syria and the United Kingdom. as per a decision issued Monday, Monzer Nazha has been appointed Chairman of the emerging council, with Mohammed Heikal and Samar Shamsi Pasha serving as Vice-Chairs.
The council will operate under the regulations governing joint business councils between Syria and other countries. The decision takes effect immediately.
The Syrian-British Business Council officially launched its activities in Damascus on October 30, with the participation of administration authorities, ambassadors, and business leaders from both countries.
