Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat met with Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Hidayat Abdullayev, on the sidelines of the World Summit for Social Development in Doha, to discuss expanding collaboration and sharing best practices between the two countries. as per a statement from the ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, the talks focused on exchanging successful experiences in social welfare programs and improving service delivery through technology.

Kabawat led Syria’s delegation to the summit, held in Doha from November 4–6. The event brought together more than 8,000 participants, including heads of state, ministers, UN authorities, civil society representatives, academics, private sector leaders, and youth advocates.
