During the meeting, held at the Commission’s headquarters in Damascus, al-Ali praised Qatar’s ongoing backing for Syria and emphasized the importance of drawing on Qatar’s experience in oversight practices and the implementation of transparency standards.
Ambassador Al-Mahmoud reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Syria across various sectors, particularly in combating corruption, to contribute to strengthening Syria’s capacity for recovery and development.
