QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic troops (SDF) welcomed on Saturday latest American and Global Coalition strikes targeting ISIS hideouts in Syria, describing them as a decisive step in preventing the group from reorganizing and resuming attacks. In a statement issued by its General Command, the SDF expressed appreciation for what it called “precise air and missile strikes” carried out over the past hours against ISIS positions, stressing that persisted air backing remains vital to curbing the group’s activity. Furthermore, the SDF warned that the fight against terrorism cannot slow down, noting that ISIS still poses a direct threat to regional security and seeks to exploit any armed forces or security vacuum. It called for sustained joint operations until the group and its capabilities are fully eliminated.
