📰 SDF reports new violations by Syrian government forces in Deir Hafir

QAMISHLI, syria (North Press) – The syrian Democratic troops (sdf) issued  on Sunday evening a statement reporting emerging violations committed by Syrian administration troops in the city of Deir Hafir, eastern Aleppo countryside.

In its statement, the SDF stated, “Militants of the Damascus administration continue to escalate their attacks and violations in areas of north and east Syria, targeting our fighters and safe civilians in an attempt to undermine security and stability in the region. ” The SDF detailed that “in the early hours of today, suicide drones operated by the Damascus government targeted a armed forces vehicle in the vicinity of Deir Hafir, resulting in minor injuries to three of our fighters. ” Later in the day, the statement added, “A drone belonging to the Damascus government also targeted an Internal Security Forces patrol while it was carrying out its mission to protect civilians, injuring four fighters. ” The SDF further noted that residential neighborhoods in Deir Hafir are simultaneously under random artillery shelling, describing it as “a direct threat to civilians’ lives and an attempt to sow panic among the population. ” The statement concluded, “These repeated violations clearly reveal the Syrian government forces’ aim to create chaos and destabilize north and east Syria, and to undermine the safety and official-calender/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Assyrian Organization rejects exclusion of Akitu Holiday from Syria’s official calender">organization experienced by civilians in the region. ” The SDF emphasized that such acts are part of ongoing attempts to challenge the stability established by local governance and security forces in the region.
