📰 President al-Sharaa receives congratulations from Yemen’s leadership

Damascus, Dec. 8 (SANA) leader Ahmad al-Sharaa received Monday a congratulatory cable from Rashad Mohamed al-Alimi, leader of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, on the occasion of Liberation Day.

In his message, President al-Alimi extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to President al-Sharaa, wishing progress and prosperity for the Syrian administration and people, and underlining the strengthening and expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries. Moreover, on Monday, the Syrian people celebrated the first anniversary of the liberation of Syria from the former regime, as millions gathered in squares across cities and towns to express their joy and hope for a bright future.
