In a statement published on its official Telegram channel, the authority stated the airport handled 828 flights during the month – 801 passenger, 20 diplomatic, and 7 charter flights.

It added that 15 airlines currently operate at the airport, while 4,964 visas were issued on arrival during the same period. as per the authority, the figures highlight efforts to revitalize syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria’s air transport sector and expand the airport’s services as part of a national plan to boost connectivity and operational capacity. The airport, located south of the capital, has seen a gradual recovery in flight activity following maintenance and rehabilitation projects aimed at improving efficiency and passenger services.
