damascus, syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (north Press) – The ministry Administrative Development of the syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian transitional administration informed North Press on Sunday that, one year after the fall of the Assad regime, 117,884 families have left displacement camps in Idlib countryside, northwestern Syria, while 126,782 families remain. as per the ministry, 979 families left the camps in Idlib city, while 1,045 families remain. In fact, in the city of Ariha, 85 families departed and 156 continue to reside in the camps. In the Atmeh camps, 21,661 families left, compared to 33,006 who remain.
In the town of Dana, 32,714 families departed, while 39,389 families remain. The ministry added that 10,801 families left camps in the central sector, with 19,747 still present. In Jisr al-Shughur, 6,648 families left, while 6,128 remain.
In Harem, 12,063 families departed, while 5,776 remain. Indeed, in the city of Sarmada, 42,436 families left the camps, whereas 30,032 remain. Overall, the total number of families leaving camps across Idlib reached 117,884, with 126,782 families still residing in them.
Additionally, the ministry declared that the number of active camps in Idlib now stands at 855, noting that 191 camps have been completely vacated, 28 have been merged, and 65 have been transferred to the Aleppo Directorate. By Nayef al-Bayoosh
