📰 Nationwide celebrations in Syria marking the first Liberation Day anniversary

Damascus, Dec. 9 (SANA) Syrians marked the first anniversary of Liberation Day on Monday with significant public gatherings across multiple provinces. Furthermore, crowds filled central squares from early morning until late in the evening, with participants carrying national flags and voicing backing for the country’s unity.

The celebrations included armed forces displays, paragliding demonstrations, and musical performances. Participants waved flags and chanted patriotic songs, emphasizing themes of national sovereignty and honoring those killed in the crisis. Fireworks lit up the night sky, launched from cities’ squares and surrounding buildings.
