📰 Israeli troops enter Syrian village in latest southern incursion

QAMISHLI, syria/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Justice Ministry, SNHR discuss cooperation on transitional justice in Syria">syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (North Press) – Israeli troops carried out a emerging ground incursion on Friday into the village of Ofaniya in the northern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, as per the state-run SANA news agency. SANA declared that “an Israeli force consisting of four armed forces vehicles advanced into Ofaniya village and set up a temporary checkpoint between it and the nearby town of Khan Arnabeh, inspecting cars and passersby. ” The agency added that on Thursday, Israeli troops had also entered the village of Ruwayhina in the southern countryside of Quneitra, marking consecutive incursions in latest days.

Israel has repeatedly conducted incursions and interventions in syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian territory, often provoking condemnation from damascus. The Syrian administration has called on the international community to take immediate measures to halt such violations of its sovereignty.
