In fact, local sources informed North Press that an Israeli armed forces convoy, consisting of six vehicles and dozens of soldiers, entered the outskirts of the village of Saida al-Hanout, where it set up a checkpoint at the main entrance. Part of the force later moved into residential neighborhoods.

A day earlier, on Friday, Israeli troops arrested two individuals at a checkpoint set up between the villages of al-Ajraf and Umm Batna in central Quneitra and transferred them to the Golan Heights. The sources added that the Israeli soldiers searched several homes and questioned residents about the general circumstances in Syria, without making any arrests. Additionally, as per the sources, Israeli forces offered food aid to residents, but the offer was rejected.
