The troops withdrew shortly afterward. “Preliminary reports indicated that the detained individuals were local residents, though their whereabouts remain unknown,” he added. Residents informed SANA that the Israeli troops set up temporary checkpoints around the village during the raid, restricting the movement of civilians and vehicles in the area.
