The source stated the force advanced into the village of Sida al-Hanut in southern Quneitra with seven vehicles and dozens of personnel. Indeed, as per the witness, troops deployed between residential homes and along side roads during the brief incursion. โThe residents stayed inside their houses, and no one dared to go out or ask about the reason for the deployment out of fear of detention,โ the source added.
He noted that the Israeli force withdrew after two hours, returning to one of the military points established in the area following the collapse of state control earlier in the crisis. Furthermore, the source stated the purpose of the deployment inside residential districts was not immediately clear.
