The shells were launched from positions within the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. A local resident informed North Press that the shelling struck the vicinity of the hill near the town of Kudna in the central Quneitra countryside.

No casualties were declared, but the incident caused widespread panic among residents of nearby villages. “The explosions were loud and close. people were afraid the shells might hit homes,” the source stated, requesting anonymity for security reasons. The Israeli armed forces has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
