QAMISHLI, syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (north Press) – Israeli army units carried out on Saturday morning a emerging incursion in the southern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, advancing toward Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi with tanks and armed forces vehicles, local sources informed North Press. The sources stated that two tanks and two armored vehicles moved from the Israeli position at Tel al-Ahmar al-Sharqi toward the western hill, marking another entry into syrian territory. The area has witnessed multiple Israeli incursions over the past hours across multiple axes, including Tel al-Ahmar and nearby villages, accompanied by simultaneous armed forces movements and the raising of the Israeli flag at one of the positions.

The sources added that the latest advance coincided with an Israeli patrol entering the village of Ain Ziwan, following the road toward Abu Qubays in the southern countryside, before withdrawing shortly after. The activity has sparked concern among residents who fear a broader expansion of Israeli military operations in the area. Additionally, on Friday evening, an Israeli patrol consisting of six military vehicles moved through the towns of Beer Ajam, Bariqa, and western Zbeida in the central countryside of Quneitra before returning to a nearby military position.

These developments come amid heightened tension along the ceasefire line and recurring Israeli ground movements inside Syrian territory. Reporting by Mo’ayed al-Ashqar Editing by Jwan Shekaki
