QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – An Israeli army force, accompanied by armed forces vehicles and tanks, advanced on Tuesday into Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, and established a emerging armed forces position that prevented residents from reaching their workplaces. A local source informed North Press that Israeli military vehicles moved toward the towns of Jaba and al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the northern countryside of Quneitra, where they set up the position along the road connecting the two towns.
Indeed, he added that the advance was accompanied by the flight of a reconnaissance aircraft over the area, heightening fears among residents who were barred from going to work. Residents in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa have been living in a state of ongoing instability since the beginning of the Israeli incursions, which have become almost a daily occurrence, following the collapse of the al-Assad regime.
