The army released photos and video recordings documenting its troops’ activities on the ground. as per the official statement, the operations involved the “Spearhead Brigade” (Brigade 55), a reserve unit reactivated in latest months, operating under the command of Division 210 deployed in the area. The statement stated the aim of the operations was to “strengthen preemptive defense and ensure the security of Israeli citizens, particularly residents of the Golan Heights. ” During the missions, Israeli troops reportedly uncovered various weapons, including missile components and RPG launchers, which were destroyed immediately after being seized.
The army verified that Division 210 units remain deployed in southern Syria and continue their field activities. In a related development, an Israeli drone strike on Thursday targeted three vehicles equipped with heavy 23 mm machine guns along the Daraa–Damascus highway.
