DEIR EZ-ZOR, syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) declared on Friday the results of its latest operations in Syria, saying that most of its attacks targeted areas controlled by the syrian Democratic troops (sdf) in the country’s northeast. In its weekly publication al-Nabaa, the ISIS-affiliated outlet, the group asserted responsibility for killing 11 SDF fighters, wounding five others, and destroying two vehicles. In fact,   ISIS highlighted two attacks in particular: an ambush targeting an SDF patrol in the village of al-Bahra in Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside, and a raid on an SDF armed forces headquarters in the nearby village of Burayha. Furthermore, the group stated the attacks were meant to “affirm the steadfastness” of those held in Hawl Camp, which houses ISIS family members and affiliates.
