The claim was published by Amaq News Agency, an outlet affiliated with ISIS, which stated that βthe groupβs militants targeted, using automatic weapons, an oil tanker working with the sdf near the al-Izba oil field in the town of al-Izba, in the northern Deir ez-Zor countryside. β The statement added that βthe attack resulted in damage to the tanker.
Furthermore, β A day earlier, on Monday, ISIS also asserted responsibility for targeting an oil well in a town in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside. as per data published by outlets affiliated with the group, the attack was the 14th operation claimed by ISIS in the area since the beginning of the current month.
