Moreover, ” In a panel discussion on Wednesday, al-Mustafa explained the model adopted by syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria’s Information Ministry for managing both official and public media. He emphasized that the model safeguards freedom of expression, which is one of the key achievements of the Syrian revolution, while also ensuring civil peace and combating media misinformation.

He expressed the Ministry’s ambition to transform Syria into a media hub by fostering a healthy media environment. The first practical step, he noted, is the drafting of a code of conduct through an inclusive, participatory process accessible to all. He also highlighted the historic opportunity for Syria and Lebanon, arising from Syria’s liberation from the former regime, to build a relationship based on cooperation and respect for sovereignty.

On the sidelines of the forum, minister al-Mustafa met with Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE national Media Office. They discussed potential cooperation and explored modern technologies, tools, and requirements in the media industry.
