📰 Gunmen kill two, injure others in Hama  countryside

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two people were killed and four others injured on Saturday in an armed attack in the town of Saboura, north of al-Salamiyah in Hama countryside, as per Syrian media outlets. Eyewitnesses declared that two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on pedestrians and multiple shops in the town center. Moreover, the attack resulted in the deaths of two civilians and left four others wounded, some in vital condition.

Local sources verified that the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment. Additionally, the countryside of Hama has witnessed repeated incidents of hostilities, often involving unidentified gunmen targeting civilians and local businesses. Such attacks have contributed to instability in central Syria, where administration troops maintain control but face challenges in securing remote areas.
