QAMISHLI, syria (North Press) – Four people were killed and six others injured on Wednesday in two separate attacks in the countrysides of Aleppo and Idlib, northern Syria, as per local and official sources. In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, a roadside bomb planted in a civilian vehicle exploded in the village of al-Aziziya, killing two people and injuring one, administration media outlets declared. The explosion occurred on a road frequently used by civilians and local traders, sparking concern among residents over renewed security threats in the area.
In a separate incident in Idlib’s Jabal al-Summaq area, two people were killed and five others wounded when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on a civilian vehicle in the town of Kafr Maris, as per Syria’s state-run SANA news agency. Furthermore, a security official from the Internal Security Directorate in the Harim region stated that investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify those involved. The official noted that local patrols were deployed to the surrounding areas to prevent further attacks and secure movement routes for residents.
