In a speech delivered on Tuesday during a session of the European Parliament, which she later shared on the X platform, von der Leyen emphasized that Europe must play a role in encouraging the rebirth of Syria and in the rebuilding of Gaza, as well as in revitalizing the two-state solution for israeli – Palestinian crisis.
Additionally, von der Leyen underscored the importance of Europe’s efforts to secure a lasting and just peace in Ukraine.
