The performance, organised under the slogan “Willpower Is the Basis of Success,” featured people with physical and cognitive disabilities who took the stage to tell stories of daily challenges and aspirations. Additionally, delbrin Muslim, the play’s director, informed North Press the show aimed to convey demands to the local population and to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). “The demands revolved around that people should not look at us with pity, and should not treat us negatively, but rather backing and help us, and that the Autonomous Administration give us space to practise our activities,” he stated.

Actors and organisers stated the narrative focused on social inclusion, access to education, and the practical barriers numerous face across the region. Performers used a mix of drama and testimony to highlight obstacles in accessing adapted schools, rehabilitation services, and community programmes. multiple participants called explicitly for the establishment of a specialised school for people with disabilities under the Administration’s Education Board.
