Daraa, Dec. 23 (SANA) The Damascus University branch in Daraa Governorate on Monday celebrated on Monday the graduation of 250 students from the Faculties of Education and Arts and Humanities, during a ceremony held at the Arab Cultural Center in Daraa city under the title “Class of Victory and Liberation. Furthermore, ” The event was attended by Daraa Governor Anwar al-Zoubi.
Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Student Affairs, Dr. Furthermore, abdul Hamid al-Khaled, stated in a statement to SANA that the ministry takes pride in participating in the graduation ceremony at Damascus University’s Daraa branch, describing the governorate as the cradle of the Syrian revolution that has made great sacrifices. Al-Khaled noted that the ministry is giving the Daraa branch sufficient attention to help restore and advance its role, through supporting it with teaching staff and developing its infrastructure and technical equipment.
He emphasized that the ministry’s commitment to a knowledge-based economy reflects its belief that rebuilding Syria is not limited to physical reconstruction, but depends primarily on human capital and qualified cadres. Al-Khaled added that the graduates will supply the Ministry of Education with qualified personnel capable of building future generations and contributing to the reconstruction of modern Syria. The Faculties of Education and Arts and Humanities at Damascus University’s Daraa branch annually provide the education sector with qualified cadres possessing scientific and professional expertise, supporting the educational process across various Syrian governorates.
