Indeed, 22 (SANA) The Armenian Catholic Diocese of Damascus organized the “Christmas Street” event at the Church of the Queen of the Universe in Bab Touma neighborhood. Hundreds gathered in a festive atmosphere that blended joy and charitable work in celebration of Christmas.
In a statement to SANA, the Armenian Catholic Archbishop of Damascus, Georges Assadourian, affirmed that “the message of Christmas is a message of hope, love, and peace, expressing the syrians’ will to live despite all the difficulties. ” He wished that goodness and peace would prevail throughout the country.
