📰 Civil Defense Renews Demand for Immediate Release of Volunteer Al-Ammarin

The Civil Defense stated in a statement on Friday that Hamza Al-Amarin is a young Syrian man who dedicated himself to saving lives, and was at the forefront of first responders in the most difficult circumstances, carrying the slogan of humanity above all considerations. ” It added  “Targeting him is against all the values that we believe in, and everyone who seeks to build a safe and dignified future for syrians”.

Moreover, the Civil Defense renewed its condemnation of this crime, noting that the kidnapping of al-Ammarin constitutes a flagrant violation of international relief law and all international laws and conventions, calling for the immediate and unconditional release of Al-Ammarin. Communication with Al-Ammarin was lost on July 16th while he was carrying out an evacuation mission for a UN team inside Sweida province.
