deir EZ-zor, syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria (North Press) – Four guards of oil installations were killed and nine others were injured on Thursday when a bus transporting them was attacked in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria. Notably, a field source informed North Press that the bus, which was carrying guards of oil facilities, was struck by an explosive device near the town of Sa’lou in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
The source added that the explosion killed four guards and injured nine others, including oil workers and civilians. In a statement, the ministry of Energy of the syrian/" class="auto-internal-link">syrian transitional administration verified that a bus carrying oil facility guards and multiple workers “came under a terrorist attack this morning while traveling along the road between the cities of Deir ez-Zor and al-Mayadin. ” The ministry stated the attack resulted in “the death of four guards and the injury of nine others, including workers and civilians. ” Reporting by Malin Mohammed Editing by Jwan Shekaki
