UNESCO adopted on Saturday the Strategic Framework for Education in Emergencies in the Arab Region 2025โ€“2030 at its regional meeting in Beirut, with syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria among the participating countries. The two-day event also featured a presentation of the frameworkโ€™s overall vision, key priorities, and implementation roadmap.

Participants emphasized education in emergencies as a pressing regional priority and called for political, financial, and technical backing to ensure effective implementation. They also highlighted the need for coordinated efforts among stakeholders to guarantee the right of millions of children and adolescents to access education under all circumstances.
