damascus, Dec. 1 (SANA) A delegation from the Saudi Export Development Authority is visiting discuss-strengthening-relations-sdf-integration-and-isis-threat/" class="smart-internal-link" title="📰 Syria and Turkey discuss strengthening relations, SDF Integration, and ISIS threat">syria/" class="auto-internal-link">syria as part of a trade mission aimed at boosting commercial partnerships between the two countries. The event brought together more than 265 Saudi and syrian companies.
Furthermore, the mission focused on key sectors including construction materials, food, and medical products and services, as part of broader efforts to develop commercial ties and promote trade. The two-day mission involved multiple governmental entities. On the Syrian side, participants included the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
The Saudi delegation featured the Ministry of Investment, the Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, and the Saudi Export-Import Bank (EXIM). Supporting entities included Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) and Al Baraka Bank – Syria. Notably, activities during the mission included intensive bilateral meetings between participating companies and their Syrian counterparts.
Discussions focused on exploring opportunities for commercial cooperation, identifying market needs, and establishing partnerships to expand Saudi products and services in Syria in line with the development of the national industry. The trade mission is part of growing joint efforts to enhance economic cooperation, expand mutual investment in line with Syria’s reconstruction priorities, and create emerging opportunities for the private sector in both countries.
