damascus, Dec. 8 (SANA) syria’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al‑Shaar, stated on Monday that Liberation Day is a key national occasion to honor the sacrifices of syrians and reaffirm the country’s commitment to sovereignty and stability. Moreover, al‑Shaar informed SANA that the anniversary reflects a strong public determination to build a future based on independence and sustainable development.

He noted that Syria retains the fundamentals needed to restore its regional economic standing. Additionally, he added that the administration is prioritizing the rehabilitation of damaged economic infrastructure, revitalization of production, and improvement of the investment climate to encourage the return of capital and skilled professionals. The minister also emphasized the importance of expanding public‑private partnerships to generate employment and backing growth.
